Self Development & Communication Skills and/or Taster for Level 2 Award in Counselling Concepts

It is a one-off communications and development course where you will learn about yourself and increase your self confidence in group and pairs exercises. As a taster and/or your first day introduction to the ABC Awards Level 2 in Counselling Concepts.

The day will involve experiential learning, self-awareness exercises and practicing effective listening and responding skills. We will look at blocks to effective, confident communication, as well as identifying appropriate personal and professional boundaries.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements other than an interest in your own personal development and a willingness to practice communication skills.

Level 2 Award in Counselling Concepts

This introduction to counselling is both informative and fun; aiming to improve your listening and responding skills as well as giving a brief overview of the theory upon which counselling is based. It is also essential learning if you are keen to discover areas for self-development and improve your communication skills for either personal or professional purposes.
