Working with Adult Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse
As therapists, we are likely to work with adult clients who have been through the trauma of childhood sexual abuse. Often the fear and worry of coming to therapy can be daunting for the client who has been through the experience of childhood sexual abuse, so a good understanding of how to support and hold space for your client is essential.
This gentle workshop encourages the exploration of sensitive yet powerful ways of supporting the client to move safely though the resulting trauma, into a space of healing and release.
This workshop can be attended as a ‘standalone’ workshop or can be paired with the ‘Introduction to Working with Trauma’ workshop.
Please contact us if you would like to register interest in future dates for this workshop.
